Short Review
The title of this work by Luigi Ontani is understandable by observing the image of this watercolor. It is about a young man who has one elephant foot and the other that symbolizes a monkey, you can tell by the tail. The figure that is coiling around the boy is not a snake but the trunk of an elephant whose terminal part is nothing but Ontani's face. This situation is inspired by Ontani's travels in India where you can see elephants that coil their trunks around the driver and then place him on their backs.
