This large work by Luigi Ontani features a photo of Ontani holding a mask and posing in various positions. These photos are superimposed on Trajan's Column, a remarkable example of Roman sculpture attributed to the great architect Apollodorus of Damascus, who worked in Rome during Trajan's reign and whose forum he designed and oversaw.
