Short Review
In this lenticular photo Luigi Ontani is photographed on an electric chair simulating various positions of the condemned. This is the most immediate interpretation. However, the title, "Electric throne" can also mean the torments of power when the person directly concerned must make difficult decisions, which torment the soul, represented by the various grimaces he assumes. Also in this case Ontani is elegantly dressed and wears spats, another typical component of his artistic production
