This work by Getulio Alviani is made up of eight rectangular aluminum sheets measuring 21x41 cm and approximately 0.5 mm thick. Four sheets are satin finished while the other four are polished and machined with the machining center coinciding with the center line of the long side of the sheets. Alviani arranged the bored sheets in the center of the work to form a staggered cross. Under the incident light, light rays are created which start from the center of the boring and widen outwards in a band. These beams of light rotate around the aforementioned center depending on the movement of the viewer. The satin parts delimit the rotation of these bands of light, focusing the viewer's attention on the center of the painting. This choice by Alviani probably derives from the fact of not dispersing the spectator's attention on the periphery of the work, which, ultimately, sucks the spectator into the work.
