This work by Getulio Alviani is composed of aluminum sheets milled and glued onto a board. The thickness of the sheets is approximately half a millimeter and the milling is done by boring with a boring diameter of 490 mm. Very small circular grooves are then reproduced on each sheet. A cone-shaped reflection of light is therefore generated. The wisdom of the artist, Getulio Alviani, therefore lies in composing the various sheets of metal in such a way that the reflection of the light of each individual sheet of metal is in balance with the reflection of the light of the other sheets of metal.
Work exhibited at the Galerie Denise Rene in Paris in 1996 and published in the "Lumiere et mouvement" catalog
