This work by Mimmo Rotella belongs to the series of décollage on iron sheet that the artist performed in the late 1980s. Consistent traces of the poster remain in the upper left and for this they give the impression of the theatre curtains when they are opened. Just so the name "The theater" that Rotella gives to this opera. For the rest there are few traces of the poster that was pasted into it. On the right and bottom are the holes of the nails that fastened the blade to the wooden support. It is probably an iron sheet that is not built in the studio, but a land that Rotella has probably cut out from some advertising panel that is no longer in use.
