The title that Mimmo Rotella gives to his works is inspired by the mental impression due either by a certain anthropomorphism or by environmental situations. In fact, if we look closely at this small work by Rotella, on the right stands out, on a dark background, a silhouette that can be traced back to a mythological character belonging to the "Cyclops", mighty men with only one eye inhabitants of the caves of the Etna volcano, where they had forges to make thunder, lightning and thunderbolt with which Zeus terrorized mortals. The noise and faville produced by their work are the ones that then emit volcanoes.
