Short Review

Very material work this "Gestures of the unknown" by Mario Raciti. The oil is spread with wide brushstrokes using a very fluid dough judging by the numerous drippings. Laterally predominate gray and blue laid out in thin layers, on the left these layers overlap. Centrally, Raciti's work is a thickening and overlapping of pasty colors ranging from white to yellow, from blue, to gray to plum.  It is an accumulationof colors, long brushstrokes, a rabid painting and then glides in the quiet of the side backgrounds
