In this work Riccardo Guarneri tries his hand at the creation of squares variously arranged on paper. He is reminded of Josef Albers' "Homage to the Square" lesson. The difference is that, unlike Albers, Guarneri does not seek the perfect representation because it would be à trivial imitation, but the tonal balance of the colors used or rather the colored lights. On the left Riccardo Guarneri makes vertical colored stripes according to his aesthetic canons.
