Short Review
This work by Salvo represents a mosque and its minaret in a Middle Eastern landscape. The location is clear from the palm tree that rises beyond the mosque. The moment is clearly at sunset with a soft light of reds, oranges and blues. Full-bodied rounded clouds (in the manner of Salvo) dominate the background. The colors are soft and softly shaded, this requires a considerable series of steps.
