Short Review

Here we are at a novelty in the work of Riccardo Guarneri. We note that the work is not perfect, in fact it has color castings centrally to the left and has centrally to the right and to the far right some imperfections in the delimitation of the color fields. These are not errors, but a desired departure from the geometric perfection of the color structures. Riccardo Guarneri occasionally feels the need to give himself up to chance, to relax mentally to ease the mental tension of the perfect execution, to hover on an unknown field but freed from rigid and preconceptions expressive canons and preconceptions.
