This work by Lucio Del Pezzo is a bit unique in that it is painted as a classical, traditional work. The painted part, i.e. the background of the work, is dark blue covered with many white dots. Del Pezzo therefore represents, as the title says, a starry night sky. On this background Del Pezzo glues his typical elements in painted wood, such as a sphere, a musical note, a star, etc
