Short Review

"Studio" is the title of this work by Lucio Del Pezzo. This means that Del Pezzo does not yet have clear in mind where this research will land. The work seems to be a forerunner of the "casellari" that Del Pezzo will realize later. The work is divided into two parts, the upper one is divided into sectors with the main one of beige color separated by the diagonals in four segments. In each of these segments there is a black square surrounded by a white stripe. In the center stands a red square surrounded by a white stripe. Below there is an oblong horizontal figure on several levels that recalls the future "shelves" that will characterize many of Del Pezzo's works.
