Short Review
Like all the works by Umberto Mariani,treated with vinilic and sand, the impression is of a fine drapery that refers to the sumptuous feminine garments from the Renaissance to the nineteenth century. The candied white is enhanced by the play of lights and shadows given by the folds of the lead foil. The interweaving of the folds and their skilful distribution on the table elevate the executive mastery to a work of art.
