This is a particular work by Kazumasa Mizokami as the individual flowers do not lie on a terracotta base but are mounted on a pressure stress canvas. This solution makes the work rather light. The individual flowers are thickened in a circular way in an area of the canvas giving the impression of a single flower with the corolla very large as precisely the sunflowers are.
