Short Review

This work by Emilio Isgrò is an erasure of the "Tablets of the Law" where the ten commandments that every Christian should observe are written. Even the shape follows that of the classical iconography that we find in many illustrations and paintings. So these are two paired boards with the curved upper edge. The background of the tables can be white, as in the specimen shown, or golden. On the tables Isgrò deletes all the commandments except for the one that reads "Don't killl" which is particularly suitable for the period in which we live.
