Short Review

This is a complex work by Angelo Cagnone. At the top, an inscription gives the title to the work that is crossed by horizontal white lines and pencil marks. Angelo Cagnone divides the work essentially into two parts. The left side has inscriptions, this time in Italian, and fragments of photos, blurred or very blurry, that are little or not at all understandable. On the right side we have fragments of photos more or less understandable, but centrally Angelo Cagnone instead reports a small and sharp photo of a female face that seems absorbed in her thoughts or perhaps is focused on a reading. All the images, more or less blurred, are parts of female bodies, probable memories of the past that Angelo Cagnone wanted to fix on the canvas to make them indelible over time. In these fragments each of us can recognize situations, occasions, memories of life spent.
