What we call "The pendulums" is a type of work that Fausto Melotti created in various sizes, from the small ones for the table to the large ones for the floor. In all versions Melotti uses a stainless steel structure made essentially of four uprights and two crosspieces with spheres between one upright and another supported by an invisible nylon thread. This solution allows the spheres to swing freely, giving the sculpture lightness and almost musical harmony.
